Taiwan’s Largest Hardware Exhibition
―TiTE×IHT’s Appeal and Future Prospects
TiTE×IHT 2025, Taiwan’s largest hardware exhibition, was held at the Taichung International Convention & Exhibition Center in Taichung, Taiwan from October 21 to 23 last year. The exhibition brought together companies related to tools and components, including hand tools, machinery parts, automotive components, and fasteners. At this exhibition approximately 400 companies from 15 countries exhibited at the event, attracting more than 20,000 industry professionals from 70 countries.
“Socket Boy” spoke with Mr. Andrew Liu, General Manager of Lanza International Co., Ltd., the event organizer, which co-hosted the exhibition together with Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association, to discuss the exhibition’s key attractions and future outlook on this occasion.
A One-Stop Procurement Process
According to Mr. Andrew, one of the exhibition’s defining features is its ability to offer a one-stop, end-to-end procurement process. Taichung, the host city, is a major hub for Taiwan’s manufacturing industry, with a high concentration of manufacturers and factories located in close proximity. As a result, even if requests for factory visits arise during business discussions at exhibition booths, they can often be accommodated immediately. These geographical advantages enable visitors to conduct business smoothly and efficiently, while also helping exhibitors reduce the burden of transportation and logistics costs. By visiting TiTE×IHT, attendees can efficiently complete all the essential elements required for doing business in the hardware industry in one place—an efficiency that represents a major attraction for visitors.
The Exhibition’s Continued Growth and Future Prospects
Mr. Andrew spoke about the exhibition’s future prospects, saying, “We aim to further expand the scale of the event. We believe it is important to provide a platform that connects buyers and sellers, and through our efforts, we hope to contribute to the development of Taiwan’s manufacturing industry.” The number of exhibitors, which was around 200 when the exhibition first started, has steadily increased each year, reaching approximately 400 this year. Although TiTE×IHT is still relatively new, now in its fourth year, Mr. Andrew notes that the exhibition has steadily raised its profile through a focused brand strategy and achieved the expected results. There is growing anticipation about how the exhibition will develop in the future.
Currently, the exhibition is primarily composed of Taiwanese companies; however, the organizers plan to actively invite overseas companies to participate in the future. For the next edition, a dedicated Japanese pavilion is being planned, with several Japanese companies expected to exhibit.
